Kibabii University School of Nursing is edging closer to a cooperation with Walla Walla Community College Faculty of Nursing. This is out of a foreseeable collaboration between the two institutions after today’s visit by Euniece Muriu, a scholar at the US-based institution. The collaboration will also include three other Kenyan counterpart institutions namely; Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST), Uzima University College and Kenya Medical Training College. It will include staff and student exchange, curriculum and resource sharing in the training of nurses in the mentioned institutions.
The preamble meeting was attended by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration, Finance and Development) Prof. Donald Siamba, Registrar (Academic Affairs) Prof. Ernest Mohochi, the Dean of Nursing Dr. Jane Kabo among others. It was also attended by MMUST’s Professor of the School of Medicine Prof. Barack Abonyo.
